Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • Strong undergraduate degree in finance, accounting,economics, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Typical requirement: UK 2:1 or 2:2 equivalent.
  • Applicants from non-financial backgrounds may be considered if they can demonstrate strong numerical or analytical skills.
  • International qualifications must be equivalent to UK standards (assessed via UK ENIC if required)

Work Experience Requirements

  • MSc Finance/Accounting programmes: Work experience is not always required; suitable for recent graduates.
  • Professional or specialised programmes (e.g., MSc Finance and Investment, MSc Financial Management, MBA with Finance focus): May expect 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in banking, auditing, consulting, or financial analysis can strengthen an application.

English Language Requirements

  • IELTS Academic: Overall 6.5–7.0, minimum 6.0 in each component.
  • TOEFL : Overall 90–100.
  • PTE Academic: Score 62–70.
  • Exemptions may be granted if previous study was undertaken in English.

  • Personal statement explaining motivation, career goals, and suitability for Finance/Accounting.
