Economics

An undergraduate economics degree allows students to explore how individuals, businesses, and governments make decisions about the allocation of resources, and how these choices shape markets, societies, and global economies. It provides a strong foundation in economic theory and quantitative methods while offering opportunities to specialise in areas such as development economics, behavioural economics, financial economics, and international trade.

The programme offers the opportunity to study core subjects including microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, mathematics for economics, and public policy. Students also gain practical experience through data analysis, research projects, policy simulations, and internships, developing strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
