Entry Requirements

A Levels

  • AAA – ABB
  • Mathematics required
  • Physics strongly preferred (many top universities make it compulsory)
  • Further Mathematics, Design & Technology, or Computer Science considered advantageous

IB Diploma

  • 34–36 points overall
  • Higher Level: 6,6,5 or 6,5,5
  • Mathematics at Higher Level required
  • Physics at Higher Level required or preferred

International Foundation Pathway

  • Foundation in Engineering, Science, or Technology with Mathematics and Physics modules
  • Progression requirement: 65–70% overall, with strong results in Mathematics and Physics

Btech Qualifications

  • Extended Diploma at D*DD – DDD in Engineering
  • Must include strong Mathematics and Physics-related content
  • Many universities require an accompanying A-level in Mathematics

English Language Requirements

  • IELTS Academic: 6.5–7.0 overall, with no band below 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT: 90–100 overall
  • PTE Academic: 62–70 overall
  • Exemptions apply if prior study was completed in English or applicant is from a UKVI-recognised English-speaking country
